The South Parish Congregational Church is a beautiful and historic building that serves as a welcoming wedding venue. We take pride in our tradition of hosting wedding ceremonies for couples who wish to marry in our church, regardless of their membership status.

At South Parish Congregational Church, our sanctuary can seat 200 people comfortably, making it an ideal wedding venue. Our Marge Grover Hall measures approximately 28' by 32', perfect for hosting your wedding ceremony or reception.

Of course! At South Parish Congregational Church, as an 'All are welcomed' congregation, we believe there are many blessings in love shared, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or gender expression. This inclusive atmosphere makes our church an ideal wedding venue for couples looking to celebrate their love in a meaningful wedding ceremony.

The short answer is yes. The minister of your choice for your wedding ceremony must be approved by our Pastor at South Parish Congregational Church. Additionally, our Pastor reserves the right to co-officiate any service that occurs within this wedding venue.

If you wish to have your wedding ceremony at South Parish Congregational Church accompanied by our talented Organist on the pipe organ, this can certainly be arranged! If our Organist is unavailable, we will assist in finding a substitute to accompany your special day. 

If you have another organist in mind to enhance your wedding venue, let's talk! As part of the employee agreement, our Organist has first refusal to play all services at the church.

Of course! And they can even use our piano at the South Parish Congregational Church during their wedding ceremony at this beautiful wedding venue!

Yes! Marge Grover Hall, located near South Parish Congregational Church, can accommodate small to mid-size reception gatherings, making it a great choice for a wedding ceremony or as a wedding venue.

The cost for hosting your wedding ceremony at South Parish Congregational Church will vary based on your specific needs. Here are our current fees: Sanctuary Use ($500), Fellowship Hall & Kitchen ($150 per occasion), Minister's Honorarium ($300), Organist's Fee ($200), and Sexton's Fee ($100). A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required when reserving the wedding venue. The Pastor's services include three premarital meetings, the rehearsal, and the ceremony. The Organist's Fee covers a music consultation along with the ceremony music, while the Sexton's Fee accounts for cleaning costs before and after.

The short answer is yes! South Parish Congregational Church is available for private celebrations, including wedding ceremonies, as well as for use by non-profit organizations or other one-time gatherings. The price varies based on your needs, so give us a call.
