Desserts are much needed! We graciously accept cookies, brownies, and other bakery products without frosting that can be wrapped.

Join us for a free community meal every Saturday of the month from 4:30 to 5:30 PM at South Parish Congregational Church, located at 9 Church St, Augusta. Each Saturday features homemade meals provided by different groups: On the 1st Saturday, the meal is served by the UU Community & Emmanuel Lutheran Episcopal Church; on the 2nd Saturday
Join us for a free community meal every Saturday of the month from 4:30 to 5:30 PM at South Parish Congregational Church, located at 9 Church St, Augusta. Each Saturday features homemade meals provided by different groups: On the 1st Saturday, the meal is served by the UU Community & Emmanuel Lutheran Episcopal Church; on the 2nd Saturday, it's served by South Parish Congregational Church; the 3rd Saturday is provided by community members; the 4th Saturday takes place at Penney Memorial Church, 393 Water St., Augusta, courtesy of Penney Memorial Baptist Church; and on the 5th Saturday, enjoy a meal served by St. Michaels Parish and Temple Beth-EL. Please note that the meals may contain gluten, nuts, seeds, or dairy. We also welcome volunteer opportunities for those who wish to help.

We need volunteers to help with preparing homemade meals, hosting, serving, set up, and clean up for our free community meal events. Volunteers are the heart of this mission, and we appreciate each and every one of them! We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available every Saturday. We need volunteers to help with preparing homemade meals, hosting, serving, set up, and clean up for our free community meal events. Volunteers are the heart of this mission, and we appreciate each and every one of them! We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available every Saturday. The meals are offered from 4:30 to 5:30 PM, and we welcome everyone to join us, whether as cooks, packers, servers, or cleanup crew. The average time commitment is just 1-2 hours.


Food for the free community meal is obtained through funds from grants and donations, as well as partnerships with other organizations. Everyone can participate in supporting our weekly supper distribution and explore various volunteer opportunities to help prepare homemade meals.
